 The Society for Global Scholars (SGS) is a graduate student-led organization at the University of California, Santa Barbara that works to advance the field of Global Studies through collaborative interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary scholarship. We are driven by a single goal: to do our parts to cultivate a world in which many worlds can fit. We are dedicated to robust methodological pluralism, incisive grounded analysis, and comprehensive ethicality. We strive to build and sustain fruitful and reciprocal relationships among ourselves, with other scholars across disciplines, and the globe and the global as a whole.
